Straight and Reverse
sequence are made from the same paper. With Reverse Sequence,
the sheets are NOT in the correct order for the carbon
action to function when the top sheet is written on. In the
case of a three part set, the color sequence for Reverse Sequence
would be Pink, Canary, White. You would need to use a printer
that would reverse the sequence during the printing process
to the correct sequence of White, Canary, Pink.
So why is the paper available in Reverse and Straight sequence?
Because some, but not all, printers will reverse the paper during
the printing process. Example: When you load most ink-jet printers,
the paper is loaded in the back with the print side facing the
front. The first sheet is printed and delivered face up. The
next one drops on top, etc. In this case, you would want the
reverse because the Pink would print first, followed by the
Canary and White.
EXCEPTION: Using the same printer, if you wanted to print
both sides, you would want Straight Sequence. The first pass
would Reverse the paper colors, and the second would return
them to back to Straight.
