If you are going to
print several sets, then use the
Fan-Apart Padding, the
sheets will pad into pairs automatically. And assuming that
you have printed on the correct side, the image will transfer
from the top sheet to the bottom one. However, if you are
NOT going to pad and are only going to run one or
two sets at a time, you must take care that you have the CB
(coated back) sheet on top of the CF (coated front) sheet after
printing and before you try to write. If to have them reversed,
no image transfer will take place.
With an all white set, all it takes is one sheet out of order
for you to have an image problem. Use a pen to put a
dot in one of the corners to test if the set will image. If
it doesn't, reverse the sheets.

Find an unopened
package of paper. If you look at the label, you will find
an arrow located to the left of the part number that reads
"Print Side Up"
Although you can print on both sides, the arrow indicates
the side of the paper that you must print your primary image.
This is the side that you want the image to carbon down to the
next sheet when you write on it.
Q:
Why is the package labeled REVERSE?
A: The paper has been collated in the reverse order for use
by printers that reverse the paper sequence during printing.
If you turn the paper over, you may solve a sequence problem,
but then you would be printing on the back of the paper and
the carbon action would not work. REMEMBER - The CB transfers
the image to a CF coating.

|
- Open the package and take ONLY THE TOP SHEET OUT
and place it on the table. DO NOT TURN IT OVER.
- Take the next sheet out and place it on top of the first
sheet. Again, do not turn it over.
- Using a pen or pencil, put a large "X" in the middle
of the top sheet. Lift up the top sheet and you will see
that the second sheet has an image.

Return the sheets
to the original paper color sequence. You now have a set that
you can insert into your printer's tray for final testing. Depending
on your printer type and it's paper path, the paper will either
go face up, or face down. Since you already know that the carbonless
will image, the rest of the testing should be easy. DO NOT USE
THE SAME TEST SET MORE THAN ONCE.

Should the White
sheet not be the on the top of your set after printing - remove
the top sheet from the stack in your printer's tray, and make
it the last sheet in the stack. DO NOT TURN IT OVER.
