Find an unopened
package of paper. If you look at the label, you will find
an arrow located to the left of the part number that reads
"Print Side Up"
Although you can print on both sides, the arrow indicates
the side of the paper that you must print your primary image.
This is the side that you want the image to carbon down to the
next sheet when you write on it.
Q:
Why is the package labeled REVERSE?
A: The paper has been collated in the reverse order for use
by printers that reverse the paper sequence during printing.
If you turn the paper over, you may solve a sequence problem,
but then you would be printing on the back of the paper and
the carbon action would not work. - The CB transfers the
image to a CF coating.

- Open the package and take ONLY THE GOLDENROD SHEET
OUT and place it on the table. DO NOT TURN IT OVER.
- Take the PINK sheet out and place it on top of
the GOLDENROD sheet. Again, do not turn it over.
- Take the CANARY sheet out and place it on top
of the PINK sheet. Do not turn it over.
- Take the white sheet out and place it on top
of the CANARY sheet. Also, do not turn it over.
- Using a pen or pencil, put a large "X" in the middle
of the top sheet. Lift up the top sheet and you will see
that the second sheet has an image as does the third, etc.

Return the sheets
to the original paper color sequence of GOLDENROD,
PINK, CANARY, white. You now have a set that you can insert
into your printer's tray for final testing. Depending on your
printer type and it's paper path, the paper will either go face
up, or face down. Since you already know that the carbonless
will image, the rest of the testing should be easy. DO NOT USE
THE SAME TEST SET MORE THAN ONCE.

If the set prints
on the correct side of the paper, but is in the wrong paper
color sequence, it is possible that you may have needed to order
STRAIGHT SEQUENCE. For more information, review our
Sequence
Test Procedure.
